+ EVE FERGUSON, TEACHER AND CERTIFIED HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACH AT CHILLED OUT MAMAS COACHING

“I’ve always loved helping people. I started out in education because I found so much joy in seeing children grow and develop as a result of something I taught them. But, after 15 years in education, it began to take its toll on me. Once I had my own children I found it extremely difficult to balance work, home, and all of the other commitments I had going on. At the core, I wanted to live a happier, healthier life, and ultimately help others do the same. So, I enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and began my journey of becoming a certified health and wellness coach. As my business progressed, I realized that my true passion was in helping busy moms like myself overcome stress and anxiety, so that they could be better for themselves and their families. And, that is how Chilled Out Mamas was birthed. I knew that if I could help to shift the atmosphere in the life of each mom I coached, it would have a ripple effect into the community and the world. So, it would be my small contribution to helping the world be a better place for us all.”

+ EVAN WEISBERG, FOUNDER AND TUTOR, TUTORS WHO CARE

“My name is Evan Weisberg. I am 35 years old and I have been in the tutoring business since I came out of college. When I graduated college in 2008, we had one of the worst economic recessions throughout history. There were more jobs firing people than hiring them at the time. Even with my bachelor's degree in English, I was forced to take more than one part-time job. Eventually, I came across an ad on craigslist for a company in Davie, FL that was looking for tutors. I applied and towards the end of the year they finally called me in for an interview. After five minutes of the interview, the owner of the company told me that I will make a great tutor. Fast Forward two years later, I had worked for a bunch of tutoring companies and studied the business through experience. Finally, I decided to start my own business, which officially happened in December 2010. From December 2010-2017, I self operated Tutors Who Care in three main counties in Florida, specifically Palm Beach, Broward, and Dade, though I had some clients on the Treasure Coast as well. In 2017, I hired my first tutor and started to take the operation and management roles of my company. Fast forward 4 years later and we are all over Florida, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.”
